# IT enabled bus services as provided in Chennai sub urban trains # "Poster-free-zones" to be established if the situation permits. But no ruling party will heed to such a demand. Hence "Digital advertisement boards" at select places( bus stands, station, pilgrim centers and tourist spots) to avoid the rampant poster culture. If required a separate wing can be established which will address such a issue and will scrutinize & telecast the ads for a price.

Trichy is rich in every thing, but the big disappointment is they are not utilised properly.Being at the heart of Tamilnadu,Trichy has huge capacity to become a smart metropolitan city.Transportation is a main plus for Trichy, but no proper government buses(old buses are running inside the city limit creating larger emission of fumes). Now proper solution for Integrated Bus-Stand.We need more domestic connectivities to metros of India in Air transport. We are need of Originating trains to metros.

We are the only city in country which is having the IT park in a very close proximity of just 2 KM from the airport. We should start promoting through right channel to encourage IT giants to move in and start operations. We are sure that by concentrating on all these we can ensure that even the poorer gets suitable job and Salary for their living. Instead of focusing on giving FreeBees to poor, we will ensure no one is poor by creating these open opportunities.

We have good number of Lakes in and around the city, but not maintained or force occupied. Lakes are the heart of any city. Not just boosting revenue for attraction, but will encourage residents and visitors to love the city. We should focus on solar pannal installation in wide spread vacant lands as part of the Budget and this should be first in our short term goal. We should spread awareness on the benefits of the solar energy and encourage public in installing by giving subsidy

For entering the tough fight and retaining the No 1 position of Majestic Trichy just Bridges and Infrastructure will not be sufficient. We need to concentrate more on the below basic things while we focus on the fruitful ideas of development. Maintain and develop minimum of one park per area, This will provide a more positive atmosphere and strive for achieving our Smart city objective.

Innumerable materials which can be generated through recycled wastes eg. as roofing materials, insulation materials, bricks etc in construction industry. When people start to get involved in 100% waste recycling, our city will also become clean on its own. It will automatically impact in a good manner our water ways, reduce pollution etc. It will also create a good impression to the outsiders who come here as tourists and tourism will also develop.

The Municipality or any other agency can purchase the organic compost from the residents who are ready to sell them(Going green is the trend today). Other recycled plastics, metals , paper etc can also be purchased from the residents. The whole community works as a small scale industry with complete citizen partnership. The same should also apply for commercial establishments.Large scale commercial establishments to have SWM Sys in addition to ETP. Municipality to accept recycledwaste

Why not provide each residence with a compact compost which can sit in the tiniest of corners of any house called Kumbha which is an assembly of mud pots with bottoms retrofitted with choir mesh to recycle the decomposable vegetable wastes? Through this initiative the dwindling potter community (Times of India dated May 5, 2014) living in Melakondaiyampettai, Keelakondiayampettai can get support for their livelihood.
