The Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee (CPCC), U.T, Chandigarh has taken serious cognizance of the increasing pollution levels in the airs of the city. Pollution occurs in many forms including Air, Water, Soil & Noise pollution.

The CPCC has expressed serious concern over the contamination of the overall environment as the sources of pollution don't simply have a negative impact on the natural world, but also have a measurable effect on the health of human beings also.

In this direction, the Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee has decided to engage the citizens of the city for their invaluable suggestions/ideas/opinions/practical solutions to put a check on increasing levels of all types of pollution in Chandigarh.

The CPCC hereby appeals to the city residents to participate in huge number in order to equip the CPCC with more and more innovative and practical solutions/ideas (which are implementable) to curb the problems arising out of different kind of pollution.

Hi sir Good morning, Sir apka ajka din acha jai easi keliye main bhagaban pase main parthana karunga sir please sir main odish ka rehena bala hun or main abhi Dubai main ek company main job kar raha hun but problem is sir main jidhara rejeta hun uska road kam pichele 20 sal se ho raha hai uska lambi hai 50 k.m ka but steel not finshed my road name is Bhadrak to Chandabli in odisha.I read a news paper and show you come odisha in after few day that why I request you give force for our road cmpeet

Swatch bharat mission This is Vikas Garg from CHD SBM can b made possible not only by cleaning roads n areas around us bt also by installing dustbin in short distances Eg just have a piece of paper with you and take a full turn of madhya marg, u"ll not find even a single dustbin. So where will we throw that piece of paper?? Same funda applies in all sectors and colonies. Habit can only b changed by providing options. If v have a option we'll use it otherwise, problem will remain the same

Traffic and Air pollution: My views: 1. Government have to run more buses in city areas where need transportation. Buses will be run with some fixed fair/ nominal fare/free of cost. People would buy one ticket and same tickets will be valid for whole day in all public buses in city areas. Government have to allocate some funds behind this travel expenses.

Traffic and Air pollution are major problem for many cities of INDIA. my view: 1.)encourage for Public transport 2.)more buses in city areas 3.)Buses will be run with some fixed fair/ nominal fare/free of cost. Government have to allocate some funds behind this travel expenses. 4.)People can attract to use Public transport if we can provide those benefits in cost of fair

1) Convert nano/reva into a hybrid, exclusive for city driving. 2) Give free downpayment of 1,00,000/- for those who don't take LPG Subsidy. 3) Enable 2% ROI, with 10 year EMI. 4) Remove all taxes on this vehicle. Tax more on conventional cars. 5) Make Rapid transit for Hybrid/electric vehicles, single lane for other cars. 6) Provide monthly incentive for zero polluting vehicles. No tolls. 7) Provide 50% electricity subsidy for charging points. 8) Come up with other incentives.
