Indian National Defence University Bill, 2015 proposes to establish a world class fully autonomous institution of National Importance under Ministry of Defence. University will develop and propagate higher education (PhD, M Phil, M Tech and M Sc) in National Security Studies, Defence Management and Defence Technology and promote policy oriented research on all aspects relating to national security, both internal and external. It would also encourage awareness of national security issues by reaching out to scholars and an audience beyond the official machinery. It will also serve as a think tank contributing to policy formulation and debates on security and strategy. INDU will inculcate and promote coordination and interaction not just between the three Armed Services but also between other agencies of the Government, the Civil Bureaucracy, Para Military Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, Intelligence Services, Diplomats, Academicians, Strategic Planners, University Students and officers from Friendly Foreign Countries. It would create synergy between the academic community and Govt functionaries. It would make available opportunities for higher studies through distance learning to interested military personnel.

Initially, four new colleges / institutions, namely School of National Security Studies, School of Defence Technology, School of Defence Management and Centre for Distance and Open Learning are proposed to be set up at main campus at Binola, Gurgaon. The four existing Defence Institutions namely National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi, College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad, Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington and National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, Pune are proposed to be brought under the ambit of INDU without diluting their powers or autonomy for award of degrees and diplomas.

The last date for sharing inputs on Draft Indian National Defense University Bill, 2015 is 21st August, 2016.

Why Pakistan is carrying out ceasefire violations everytime. How the terrorists are coming from Pakistan side when their military is tight and they fire every now and then. Or they should accept that their army are less in executing as usual than the infiltrators. Where were the political parties who are now approaching to President to discuss the Kashmir tension when Hindus again are being exploited. Take the population growth census while visiting the President and the population of the Hindus

Recently, there has been various cases unmasked where antisocials are present inside the Country crying anti national slogans. People are disrespecting the National Anthem, Indian Flag. They are bringing in religion to defend their stand. When appropriate actions are taken they are crying that they are being targeted on religion basis. Why only few Muslims are doing so. There are diversified segments of people Like Rajasthani, Sindhi, Goans,Jharkhand, South Indian. They never objected.

First proof of Army not carrying out atrocities is that protester are attacking the Army openly. Which country has so much patience that Army who are guarding are being attacked. Where were the protesters when Hindus, Kashmiri Pandits were killed. It is clear that few residents are handsomely supporting those anti National elements. The residence of the displaced Hindus and Pandits to be given back. Ask there how many Muslims are displaced. How many Muslims are killed by terrorists.

Whatever happening in J & K, anti social elements are claiming that people there are being suppressed by Army. Which people has guts to attack the Army for one killing. What about the people where Army people who are guarding the borders and are losing their life so that citizens can stay in peace. Where are the protesters now when Army personnel are being attacked killed. There was Mumbai blast which claimed so many lives. Where were these protesters then. Do Mumbai people took laws in hand.

Sir, GPS systems are installed in all 4 wheeler vehicle. But recently I had to call Ambulance through 108. Ambulance booked but the drivers called up twice and was asking address twice. The residence is about only 5 Minutes away but it took more than 25 Minutes. If GPS were installed in the Ambulance there the patients can be admitted to Hospital earlier. During that period, it really tense the relative especially when he is alone. GPS in ambulance is a must and shall be helpful to citizens.

Dear resp.Sir,pl u can add for system oriented not man oriented organization ,that will creat below pt. 1.All dept should be fill up doc. Daily report,Weekly report,monthly report, 2.All dept used check sheet as per department as points 3.All dept schedule make for shift,machine schedule,etc 4.training also imp all employee known abt dept but world wants to new means you should changes creat and added new points in all check sheet Barcoding,computerised all depts and daily reportingwith ppt

Please consider following: * The entire policy document is non-descriptive on the degrees offered by the university - please include. * Also, please have a provision of providing all successful students a placement to the appropriate departments/organisations as per their qualification/degree achieved. * Please have a course for mid-term switch for the interested, thus anyone who is interested may chose to take an appropriate degree from the university and thus move to his area of interest.

I am not in favor of any such university, the reason for the same being - 1) I believe that setup of any such university would be a disastrous move for security of our country. It might influence & overpower the decisions of the armed forces in our country. Which in turn would lead to reduction of their autonomy. I believe that autonomy in any force is the key to its success, since they are the one who are very close to ground realities. 2) .... Not sure how to give input (word limit)
