Namaste Everyone! Have 5 portions of fruits and vegetables everyday. Why? According to a report, people eating at least 5 portions of fruits and veggies a day have lower risk of heart disease, stroke, cancers. How? Just 1 apple, banana, pear is 1 portion. A slice of pineapple or melon and 3 tablespoons of veggies also is 1 portion. Have a tablespoon of dried fruit, such as raisins and cereal is Add banana and side salad to your lunch Have a portion fruits, veggies and yogurt as dinner

Namaste Everyone! Eating a healthy, balanced diet can help you feel your best. Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables every day Have high fibre starchy foods like potatoes, bread or rice Have some dairy or dairy alternatives like milk, curd, etc Eat beans, pulses, soya paneer (fish, eggs, meat, etc if you're non vegetarian) choose unsaturated oils and eat them in small amounts drink 6 to 8 glassesof water a day Have densely nutritious food Eat healthy, stay safe!! Namaste everyone! A healthy diet keeps us fit and active. But what exactly is a healthy diet? A healthy diet is a balanced diet comprising of carbs, proteins, vitamin, minerals and limited fats. For vegetarian diet having people, it is a must to have soya paneer, lots of milk etc to fulfill the protein demands We must aso drink 8 glasses of water everyday along Strong emphasis on fruits and green-leafy vegetables. So keep eating nutritious food and be fit and active!! Jai hind!
