6) Time and again, educationalists have urged upon universities to introduce job oriented courses, so that the students - when they pass out from the portals of their educational institutions - will be able to get jobs commensurate with their qualifications. Universities, schools, polytechnics and industrial training institutes should revamp the syllabus and include subjects that will help the students to get jobs in accordance with their qualifications in emerging technologies. Classified as Critically Endangered by the IUCN, this species is on the verge of disappearing forever. Historically present in the Ganga, Brahmaputra, and their tributaries, the Ganges shark has become almost mythical in recent decades, with no confirmed live footage. The absence of sightings does not necessarily mean extinction. Local fishermen occasionally report shark-like creatures, but without scientific verification, these remain unconfirmed. The habitats where they may still survive are remote, murky, and often culturally sensitive—making exploration extremely difficult without coordinated government-led action. 1) A number of people are being bitten by stray dogs in streets every day, as a result of which the people are injured seriously; some even die. I request all state governments and union territories to catch all street dogs periodically and kill them. 2) Our roads and streets are invariably being occupied by hawkers and street vendors. They also keep their vehicles and baskets in footpaths, as a result of which people are not in a position to walk freely on footpaths. This seriously inconvenience the general public. I appeal to all concerned to look into this issue seriously and direct all street vendors to sell their products in earmarked markets only.

On the occasion of our 79th Independence Day celebrations, I would like to propose an idea that would reduce our carbon emissions, improve agricultural productivity and upskill our youth. My suggestion is to install hydroponic system under elevated solar panels on school or college rooftops. Hydroponics is a sustainable method of agriculture in which plants are grown on water and is run by a set of pumps and meters. If the system is combined with solar panels then it would further enhance its sustainability and efficiency. The integrated system, if installed on top of school or college rooftops can also be used to upskill our youth in sustainable agriculture, working of pumps, meters, etc. If maintained properly, the students themselves can take the initiative to form a cooperative society among themselves to pack, market and sell the products. Hence this system would edge India closer to the dream of Viksit Bharat.
