The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

The following sections should be give first priority to make Pasighat a smart city. 1.The sectors roads must be widen. 2.Drainage system must be improve 3.Solid waste management is most important. 4.Government Own diagnostic centre is mut to give facilities to poor 5.Disaster Management is Must

my vision for Pasighat is Pasighat can be one of the most tourist hub in the world if proper planning are done from centre.but what i feel is Arunachal Government cannot tackle this task,so regular investigate must be done from central government that especially from PMO.If Pasighat is develop as tourist hub of india then every one will enjoy the benefit as people of Pasighat are good in hospitality,they are very open hearth.

What i feel is that state government of Arunachal Pradesh must recognize the potential of East Siang,Pasighat.Instead of unnecessary damping of public money to itanagar in the name of development Pasighat should be develop first.with minimum funding also pasighat can be like that of metro cities of india.

Pasighat as smart city my others vision is that,I am not a indigenous but i am feel save here instead of my own state so Pasighat should be select and develop in fist list if pasighat is develop not only Arunachal Pradesh the whole nation will benefited from its,as all section of people are living here in peacefully.

Regarding town planning I am, of the view that:- 1.All sectors roads should be widen. 2.Proper planing for market like meats products,local products,etc should be degined. 3.Organic product should be encourage for health care. 4.more and more education institute like AIMS etc should be sanction to Pasighat.
