It is my experience as an Engineer myself and having raised two children and being a working woman that how much ever a girl educates herself, when raising a family, the primary task of childcare falls upon her. Hence it is important thatshe knows atleast one other skill that can make an alternative career for her in the future. Hence, it is important that a girl child be taught one livelihood skill, anything from stitching to dancing to music in her regular curricullum.

There should not be any special curriculum for girl child as it would create inferiority complex among girls. Let both girls and boys get equal opportunity. There are certain works girls cannot do but certain works they do better than boys. Wider options like computer, soft skill, handicraft making, fashion designs, research and education, yoga and food processing etc can be chose by girls. They can go to any area of their choice if they want to go.

Make the girls participate in all heavy core industries by not under estimating them for their bravery and commitment to work. By assisting them in collegial Style of the technical know-how to operate heavy machinery and computers. e.g.. In china in a particular factory a Lady can handle all sorts of machines for production. Teaching the girls that you are equally important resource for the country.
