इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीटी) ने भारत को डिजिटल रूप से सशक्त बनाने और अर्थव्यवस्था को समृद्ध बनाने के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रम शुरू करने का प्रस्ताव दिया है। डिजिटल भारत का लक्ष्य 3 प्रमुख क्षेत्रों पर केन्द्रित है: सभी नागरिकों को डिजिटल अवसंरचना एक उपयोगिता के रूप में प्रदान करना, मांग पर शासन और सेवाएँ प्रदान करना और उन्हें डिजिटल रूप से सशक्त बनाना। आप इस पहल के बारे में अधिक जानकारी http://deity.gov.in से प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।

इस कार्य के अंतर्गत आपको डिजिटल भारत पहल के लिए एक प्रतिक चिन्ह बनाना होगा और 1 सितम्बर 2014 तक हमें भेजना होगा। विजेता प्रविष्टि को रु 50000 के नकद ईनाम से सम्मानित किया जायेगा।

Design has 4 parts, all colours engross the spirit of nationalism: 1. Main design part- “AND” logic gate (computer circuit) always requires both true inputs (Infrastructure and Governance, government is putting in) to give a true output (Digital empowerment of citizens). Merged ‘D’ and ‘I’ letters make the logo compact and appealing. 2. Digitalized English title 3. Hindi title 4. Tag line clearly defines the purpose and also explains the design.

My logo is based on the holistic vision on India as a completely digitized and powerful state. The idea behind the logo is to convey the idea of “e-levation” to the masses.
