" i saved energy" should be a matter of pride and joy for a country faced with energy starvation. This requires change in education curriculum to inform children, energy self help groups to empower community with information, & easy access to energy efficient LED lights, solar cookers, roof top solar fittings, cheap double glazed window panes, incentives to build energy efficient buildings & strict penalties to trucks n car owners if their vehicles are not as per pollution standards.

Railway it seems is either the largest or one of the largest consumer of fossil fuels in India.a] Railway electrification should be declared a national project to achieve 100% railway line electrification and b] The entire length and breadth of railway lines must have solar panels installed.Energy generated by such panels can be fed back to the railways itself.Generating a substantial amount of energy spent will surely help in efficient energy management,

Energy efficiency means utilizing resources more effectively.I recall our PM Modi stating in a presentation few months back how he laid solar panels on the canals and/or other water bodies in Gujarat. It served dual purpose of generating energy as well as reducing evaporation. Why not extend this concept on land. The entire length and breadth of national and state highways, railway line and railway stations can have solar panels. Our dependence on fossil fuels will reduce drastically.

One best way in which each citizen can contribute to energy conservation is by reducing unwanted/unnecessary energy consumption. In order to promote this type of conservation GOVERNMENT can start a new scheme named 'Citizens Energy Credits' in which citizens are awarded energy credits based on the reduction in his/her energy consumption.

I would like give effort in the below areas to make it more better - efficient, cost effective, reliable, available, renewable, transportable. 1) Energy production in all form 2) Energy transmission and distribution 3) Energy consumption 4) Energy recycle and renewable in a Eco-friendly way. Here i am attaching my thoughts in PDF format for your reference. We should not discuss on this however should take some bold steps which will give benefit to our next generation.

if i was the government of india than first i will apply new technology or project like use of solar panel in each house the cost of initial is high but after than 40 to 50 years so many energy saving in each house so i will try to give 50% loan on this type of solar project so all house has only one solar panel than more than 50% energy efficient done for e.g one house has 3 solar panel in terrace of 50 volts this panel save 50% electricity bill and run fan,tv,computer so energy efficie improve

Mandate one solar panel for each house (propagate 'lets get the sunshine in our house'). Advantages- 1. People might not be willing to switch completely to solar energy suddenly but this will slowly get them into it. 2. Overall it will still yield a substantial conservation effect.

Enforce the switch-on and switch-off times for all street lights. Many a time lights are either switched on early or left switched-on for much longer times than required in that particular season which is a massive drain on energy. Controlling the on-off timings efficiently can make us more energy efficient.
