To keep the nation energy efficient one of the best way is giving subsidy and encouraging renewable energy.Also considering the future of nation and or next generations governament should take initatives to use renewable sources of energy this may be having initially high investment but there are advantages.some of ideas for renewable energy are in the attachment.If i am governament first of all i would encourage the youth studying to find solutions and investing on renewable energy and research

i would encourage development of automobile engines which can utilize bio-gas and electricity . this would decrease dependence on petroleum derivatives as well as pollution

i would invite private investment in bio energy plants which would use human waste as well as biodegradable wastes(from plants etc.) to create methane gas which could be used as cooking gas in households as well as creating electricity from turbines and the slurry could be used as manure. Private companies could be encouraged to utilize their CSR funds for this purpose.

Develop all schools and colleges and make it mandatory for all students of all ages to attend the institutions nearest to their place of residence from home . much energy ,physical as well as emotional will be conserved.With the saved time and energy let them go to on the job practice schools,in the nearest places at least for 500 hours per year . Skill knowledge ,stamina , motivation confidence depth interest , productivity will improve . Drug menace will weaken.Creativity will improve

SOLAR ENERGY USAGE SHOULD BE CAMPAIGNED IN MASS WAY TO BE UTILIZED IN EACH AND EVERY HOUSE ROOF TOP.

The Govt can ask sports federations to put solar panels on roof of stadiums at their own cost. BCCI has ample funds. In Germany several football stadium generate solar lower.
