विद्युत मंत्रालय के ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो द्वारा राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा संरक्षण जागरूकता अभियान हेतु प्रतीक चिन्ह बनाने के लिए एक प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया है। इस राष्ट्रीय अभियान का उद्देश्य भारतीय नागरिकों को उर्जा के संरक्षण के लिए अपनाई जाने वाली सर्वश्रेष्ठ पद्धतियों और आदतों के बारे में जागरूक करना है।

प्रविष्टि भेजने की अंतिम तिथि: 5 दिसम्बर 2014

विजेता प्रविष्टियों को निम्नलिखित पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया जाएगा:

1. प्रथम पुरस्कार- रु. 25,000/-
2. द्वितीय पुरस्कार- रु. 15,000/-
3. तृतीय पुरस्कार – रु. 10,000/-

तीसरे स्थान के लिए तीन प्रविष्टियों का चयन कर प्रत्येक को रु. 10,000/- के नकद पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।

Here ‘S’ is considered as an alphabet which is prone for reformation, transformation an inevitable factor for recycling, which again is inevitable for conservation. The two ends of S is in sync with nature as the bottom portion of the leaves are in earthy and the top portion is lush green as that is the best recycling example from the nature. Top portion of the S is in sky blue and the bottom is in sea blue and the centre cross is in green as safety and responsibility.

Sustainable energy conservation depends on the prudent use of energy and identifying renewal energy resources, focus on alternative fuels,planting trees and saving water , recycling of natural resources and use of energy resources in a more effective way.We should think on a continuous basis to conserve energy in our routine life.Energy conservation has to be made a way of life.

This logo is about honey bees saving honey in its comb. This logo represents various forms of energy resources which come in various forms. We need to save energy for current and future consumption, it is very important to save energy and then supply for irrigation work to farmers because they produce important necessity of life i.e. food grains. Lots of waste generated in country but there are few plant to generate energy from waste we must promote such energy generating plants. Jai Hind
