विद्युत मंत्रालय के ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो द्वारा राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा संरक्षण जागरूकता अभियान हेतु प्रतीक चिन्ह बनाने के लिए एक प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया है। इस राष्ट्रीय अभियान का उद्देश्य भारतीय नागरिकों को उर्जा के संरक्षण के लिए अपनाई जाने वाली सर्वश्रेष्ठ पद्धतियों और आदतों के बारे में जागरूक करना है।

प्रविष्टि भेजने की अंतिम तिथि: 5 दिसम्बर 2014

विजेता प्रविष्टियों को निम्नलिखित पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया जाएगा:

1. प्रथम पुरस्कार- रु. 25,000/-
2. द्वितीय पुरस्कार- रु. 15,000/-
3. तृतीय पुरस्कार – रु. 10,000/-

तीसरे स्थान के लिए तीन प्रविष्टियों का चयन कर प्रत्येक को रु. 10,000/- के नकद पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।

BE ENERGY WISE This simple yet informative logo, suggests that you should conserve electricity By switching off the lights when it is not dark(represented by the first half of the bulb)and only switch on the light when its dark(the second half).The green leaves, suggests an Eco-friendly living standards and the green palm of the hands in the logo shows Mother nature’s love and gratitude for doing the right thing

The center of logo depicts the half glowing bulb. Punchline--> My step towards a future , that's BRIGHT. My bulb says "use me when no sunlight " Description:- We have lost The Great Einstein but let us not Loose energy, Each and every person must be knowing What Is A Watt? The watt consumed by Incandescent bulbs/ Hallogen bulbs is too high as compared to CFL. So the logo depicts the usage of CFL must be encouraged over Incandescent bulbs

Emphasis on is to use natural sources of energy i.e Sun of solar energy & Water of hydro energy. Maximise use of public transport like bus which will save fuel. Please put your engine off on signals. Use cycle. Always use more star rating products is shown by 5 starts. Leaf is shown to use nature bio-fuel. Circle shows across the globe.

I'm submitting 3 options for the logo of NACEC in one folder. All three are JEPG files, editable. I am sending the elaboration of these logos in my next message; to be on the safer side, as the time limit is quite near to close. It is most important to convey the motto of initiative/campaign through a logo. The below designed logo depicts nature inside a bulb(Electricity),where the color brown symbolizes soil and land resources. A tree on one side and sun on other depicts the importance of conserving plants and use of unconventional energy resources. Also, the fruits of energy conservation will not just be enjoyed by current generation but is helpful for sustenance of future generation.(Depicted as a boy raising hands)
