प्रतीक चिन्ह सभी ग्रामीण (ग्राम पंचायतों) क्षेत्रों में ब्रॉडबैंड नेटवर्क उपलब्ध कराने वाले उद्देश्य से संबंधित होना चाहिए। जिसके द्वारा ई-शासन, ई-शिक्षा, दूरस्थ स्वास्थ्य निगरानी, मौसम और कृषि जैसी सेवाएँ ग्रामीण समुदायों के लिए उपलब्ध कराई जा सके। एनओएफएन परियोजना देश के 2,50,000 ग्राम पंचायतों के लिए फाइबर कनेक्टिविटी प्रदान करेगा।

दूरसंचार विभाग के यूएसओ कोष द्वारा शुरू किए गए राष्ट्रीय ऑप्टिकल फाइबर नेटवर्क (एनओएफएन) परियोजना हेतु प्रतीक चिन्ह बनाने के लिए आप सभी आमंत्रित हैं।

प्रविष्टि भेजने की अंतिम तिथि 1 जनवरी 2015 है।

विजेता प्रविष्टि को नकद पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाएगा:

1. पहला पुरस्कार – रु. 51,000/- (कर सहित)
2. दूसरा पुरस्कार – रु. 31,000/- (कर सहित)

BrandName-GramTel Punchline-"Providing roots to growth" -By this project,the rural areas will get access to the whole world.Therefore,the optical fibre wires form the roots for the growth which is denoted by the tree.Tree is usually associated with growth and under the shade of the growth,people will be benefited.And finally the 4 orange bars represent the sun which denotes connectivity.without the sun, existence is impossible,like ways without connectivity, inclusive development is impossible
