when we say Digital India, we dreamed that every citizen of India is connected with each other and outside India also. That person is can handle the Digital equipment with ease but this dream is too much far. To get this dream Govt. need to make org.in every village of each state and need young volunteers who can teach them " how to operate digital devices". I am an engg. in electronics and comm. I want to become volunteer of such org. and want to share knowledge to make India a digital India.

The frst step in closing the digital divide is to undrstnd ur community’s resources. Do u know hw many households are without Internet access? Where can a senior go to learn hw to use Skype to connect with their grandchildren? Where are the public WiFi hotspots? Knowing these facts will help you point individuals in the direction they need for support. Mapping your community’s assets will allow you to identify your community’s needs and develop programs to target under-served population

There are many senior citizens in my locality which are educated but are not well versed with technologies or computer/mobile usages. I want to make them learn these new age technologies so that they can complete their many bank or document related tasks their self and conveniently. Also, in their leisure time, they can use internet to find information and good practices across the globe to gain new perspective and guide the youth.

First of all, I thank The Team for providing us an opportunity to express/contribute our views for nation development. Being a professor in Technical field, coming from a rural area, I strongly believe in using the existing resource with required training.
