हमारा देश मे सडक दुर्घटनाओ मे लगभाग 150000 लोगों की जान जाती हैं।और कई गुना घायल एवं विकलांग हो जाते है।जिसकी रोक थाम के लिए सडक सुरक्षा सप्ताह का आयोजन किया जाता है। इससे दुघर्टनाओं मे कोई भी कमी नहीं आई है। इस लिए सडक सुरक्षा सप्ताह का नाम बदल कर राष्ट्रीय चालक दिवस कर दिया जाय। राष्ट्रीय चालक दिवस विचार विमर्श के लिए मन की बात प्रोग्राम मे प्रस्तुत है।

Tonnes of hot air are being blown out 24X7 by air conditioners which are heating up the concrete jungle resulting in additions of more and more ACs. Public awareness is required to control the indoor temperatures not below 22°C. People should sacrifice their indoor comfort level by at least 4°C when outdoor temperature is unbearable. People are dying outside even trees are drooping down!

Wastage of filtered water is a major problem in Kolkata. As per newspaper report 30% of total filtered water is wasted every day. Out of this, 10% is wasted through 17000 road-side taps. Only a portion of this caters to water requirement of slums. Authorities must be having their plan of action to stop this enormous loss of water especially through open / broken pipes at the distribution joints. Result will speak.

Two different pictures on the issue of water crisis 255 districts across the country are water-stressed: Need to save water through water harvesting and recycling of waste water are major challenges before each and every Indian. Wastage of filtered water: 30% of daily production is lost which could have served two million people!

What should farmers do.. What kind of crops farmers should bow...?? How to manage with their domestic animals and keep them unaffected by the flood.. What kind of food should farmers and their domestics should have and avoid to save them from diseases... And in case of excessive loss, how to get aid from gov..
