sir green energy concept is so much necessary for environment.Atleast in every university of our country there is a scheme that they have to generate some amount of green energy by there self. For that they have to install solarpanels on there roof.I saw this idea implemented in iit delhi if it implemented in whole country then it will be a revolutionary change.

Sir,1. should there not be a boost to public transport, with well equipped transport hubs & connectivity and reducing the dependence on private vehicle usage. 2. Strict adherence to emission norms by manufacturers and regular checks. 3. Dual pricing / higher tax for gas guzzlers 4. improving inland water ways to facilitate people movement 5. dedicated pedestrian pathways 6. greenery to decrease the impact of exhaust emissions 7. increase use of CNG vehicles in public transport.

This is my ideas to lower carbon emission
1)Buy fresh foods instead of frozen,Frozen food uses 10 times more energy to produce.
2)Eat less meat
Methane is the second most significant greenhouse gas and cows are one of the greatest methane emitters. Their grassy diet and multiple stomachs cause them to produce methane, which they exhale with every breath.
3)Buy organic foods as much as possible

1. All old vehicles (more than 15 years on road) should be scrapped
2. PUC Certification should be under strict control
3. Public Transport System (Train, Bus, Auto, Taxi, Metro, Monorail and Waterway) should be made robust
4. Roads should be reconstructed so that there comes no need to dig them up
5. Drinking Water and Sewage Lines should be put anew
6. Solar Panels to be used for traffic signals & street lighting
7. Many more... but not enough space here! :-(

Respected Sir,
Happy to hear that INDC is putting efforts to have low carbon emission by use of renewable energy like Solar power but it is effected by climatic changes like raining and cloudy weather, will it provide sustainable lifestyle?

Biggest thing what i observed is public transport is what polluting more than private transport, start with public transport, cabs and buses need to be replaced first as priority. Promoting wont work this is india people react only after watching result, please provide public transport with electric motors, once people will see that working they will automatically start choosing electric powered vehicles

Mobilizing finance -
1. Govt can consider coming up with environment bonds inline with infrastructure bonds to generate capital for climate change initiatives.
2. Companies to be made to invest in environmental projects under CSR initiatives.
3. New environment tax to be levied on Industrial/commercial ventities utilizing fossil fuels and
Adding to carbon footprint
