First Government must bring tough laws to punish those who destroy forests by cutting trees and draw water illegally.Animals & birds are poached. We must start working to protecting the nature. All rivers & lakes are polluted by chemical & toxic wastes.Nobody is bothered to check such atrocities happening in many places.Rain water harvesting system must be made mandatory throughout drought hit areas. If this is done sincerely it will help us.Government officials must act quickly.

At one end, we are saying that we need to reduce CO2 emission, and on the other hand, we say that we need a higher G.D.P. growth rate ! These two cannot be achieved together. So what we need find is the right balance between those. Because as we will move ahead in timeline, we have to decide that what will our next generation will require, a better G.D.P. growth rate or good environment ! #ChooseWiselyLiveWell #Emipro

We need to save the #mangrove as we have a vast coastal area, and they are really one of the main "Wall" between the sea and the land, and if remove those, then it will impact heavily. Because as the ice from north pole will be melted, it will increase the sea level, and without mangroves, the situation will be much worse then we can thing. #SaveMangroves #Environment #Emipro

In continuation of my previous post, In some regions local people are greatly outnumbered by visitors. It is, therefore needed, that while the measures are taken to develop and promote sustainable tourism practices with strict norms, locals are encouraged and trained to undertake other means of livelihood such as small scale industries mainly in food sector (jams, pickles, processed food), region based handicraft etc.

In continuation of my previous post, Unlike European Alps, mountain tourism development in our country is unregulated, uncontrolled and haphazard. It is signified mostly by hotel industry. There are inappropriate measures of solid waste disposal, garbage pollution. The large concentration of visitors in some mountain destinations has resulted in alarming levels of tourism-induced environmental, socio-economic and cultural problems.

At least for next 5-10 years all these yatras to holy pilgrimages in Garwal and other himalyan regions should be stopped altogether. There have been a lot of soil erosions and these areas need more vegetation and lesser population. This may be a state subject but at least centre can issue suggestions and guidelines in this regard. The number of tourists, pilgrims, trekkers allowed at a particular time should be restricted.

As we know that now the issue of pollution is very vital, specially in the capital city of our country, #Delhi. And we believe that the traffic police persons may be the most effected by this, as they have to manage heavy traffic staying in the middle of it, and inhale so called toxic air, as they have no way to escape from it ! So if possible government can give some kind of better quality masks which may help them to survive on that condition. #SaveTheNature #Environment
