Namaste. This issue is regarding the currently prevalent social culture in the domain of matrimony and family welfare among Indian youngsters both in Bharat and abroad. The trend seems to be indefinitely postponing marriage and/or child-birth. There are also rising cases of break-ups soon after marriages. Women empowerment is good but the rat race, high competition, long work-hours of private sectors make it difficult for talented women to balance career and family, especially in STEM. Boys also, though excelling in entrepreneurship, science and technology seem to be afraid of marital commitments lately. This situation, if persistent, will lead to damage in morality and ethics among youngsters in their life-style and conduct. Viksit Bharat, Vikas Path should take into account this social climate and negate the negative mindset of youngsters about marriage and family so that, in due course of time, Bharat is not filled with majority of senior citizens.
