Respected Sir, I am a young participant of the Women Youth Parliament and I feel grateful for this opportunity. I had the chance to speak on the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, which strengthened my understanding of women’s role in democracy and nation-building. This experience made me realize that true empowerment is not only representation, but also Nari Sashaktikaran through skill development, self-reliance, and economic independence. Skilled women become confident and contribute strongly to society and national growth. Therefore, I suggest strengthening women skill development programs under the vision of NARI SAKSHAM KENDRA, especially in rural and semi-urban areas, so every woman can become self-reliant and empowered. A skilled woman strengthens her family, society, and the nation. This is my personal suggestion based on my experience in the Women Youth Parliament. Thank you.

As the General Manager of the Goa Forest Development Corporation, I have had the privilege of seeing the Cashew Fest grow from a concept into a meaningful platform for farmers, entrepreneurs, and communities. With the guidance of Dr. Deviya Rane, the festival has successfully brought Goa’s cashew heritage into the spotlight, connecting producers directly with markets and consumers. It has strengthened livelihoods, encouraged value addition, and enhanced the visibility of local products. Beyond economics, the fest has fostered community participation and created awareness on sustainability and conservation. It has also reinforced the Corporation’s role as a facilitator of inclusive and sustainable development. Today, the Cashew Fest stands as a strong example of how collaboration and vision can transform a traditional sector into a vibrant and forward-looking ecosystem.

Another thing I would like to draw your attention is recruitment of teacher. Our colony has Atomic Energy Central school in Anushaktinagar , Mumbai . There is acute shortage of teachers. Through this initiative, every student can learn one practical skill such as first aid, digital literacy, water conservation, or assisting senior citizens. Along with learning, every student can dedicate one hour every week to serve society. This will create a generation of skilled, responsible, and compassionate youth. It will benefit both villages and cities, and encourage young people to become job creators and problem solvers.
