It is happy to note that UNO is observing the year 2023 as International Year of Millets and recognising the Institute of Millets Research Hyderabad as Centre of Excellence for Millets . The country is largest producer of Millets in the World . However when comes to consumption still Millets has lower penetration and lower acceptance levels . The Ministry of Agriculture needs to set clear consumption targets by popularising Millets & Millet based products in the country . Indian Army promoting Millets Bajra Ragi and Jowar as staple food for their canteens is a welcome step . GOi States UT Government ministries can draw inspiration from Indian Army to promote Millets as Staple food in their canteens and house holds of employees . If the consumption of Millets can reach 50% of consumption of Rice & Wheat in the country it would be greatest achievement of Ministry of Agriculture . On the above note I urge Honourable PM Sir request people of the country to accept Millets as staple food .

Please read this short message, Namaste, this is Tanvi , a teenager from Indore. Recently I got up with a solution to the problem that even though there is improvement in govt school and introduction of mid-day meal for encouraging students to go to school, children actually don't study and go to school only for food. I think that the test taken by the schools should reward children according to grades, for example if a child in govt school scored a 92% in his/her finals, then he/she should be rewarded 9200rs similarly if they don't study and get a 21% they may only get 2100rs. I think it would actually make them study and if they are doing some other cheap labour for less wage then they would surely prefer studying and earning. I want all readers to please encourage the idea, we all want to see a well educated India of course. Jai hind.

Dear Sir, It regards donation-related bank accounts. Problem Statement: If someone needs 10 Lakhs for an operation (or any other donation) and circulates an account number through NGO for the purpose. Now, the problem starts when the donation amount exceeds the required amount. Solution: There should be a special bank account number opened for such cases, with the feature that if someone transfers some amount to that account it should send a thank you message, mentioning the balance (or remaining amount for the purpose) in the transferred account and it should stop receiving more donations. Results: The donor will not hesitate to transfer the amount and will be confident that his donation is being used for a good cause. Thanks!

Dear Sir, We should give some priority in services to the people who pay taxes and who vote in election..in every govt services they should get priority.. in Railway station/airport there are seaprate counter or preference for First class ticket/Business class passengers..same way why can t we have priority for tax paying citizens..this will encourage other citizens also.. whenever I see business class people,I always think that I will work Hard to make more money and travel by business class once with Family. Same feeling all Indian Citizens should have that I will work hard make more money and pay tax and contribute to the country and avail privilege given by govt to tax payers and waters

Hon'ble PM Sir, Thanks a lot for this forum, where we can share our views for your consideration. My Subject today is in respect of "Interest rates being charged by Banks for Sanction of Education Loans". Sir, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that even though the Bank's REPO rate is same for both "Home Loans" and "Education Loans", most of nationalised Banks are regularly advertising reg. avaialbility of Home Loans with interest rates @ 8.4% to 9.0%. In comparison the Education loans are being sanctioned at an interest rate @ 10% to over 13%. You will please appreciate that with huge education fees in almost all the Private Educational Institutions ( Medical, Engineering as well as Law/ Humanities streams), it is not possible for most of the parents to arrange the Fees & other educational expenses, without taking bank Loans. I urge you that Government should come out with suitable schemes, for subsidizing the interest rates ( as is done for Housing loans)
