In India there is a long pilgrimage both timewise and distancewise. It is called Narmada Parikrama. I did it last year. I had more pleasant experiences than unpleasant ones. Mainly Govt of MP is doing great things such as good roads, Ample of water supply by hand pumps at each Kasba. However I must mention the lack of toilets in the Narmadakhand if I can call that route of the parikrama so. Please request/instruct MP, Gujrat and Maharashtra govt to provide good sanitation facilities to the parikramawasi. My own Maharashtra Govt (Mahavikas Aghadi) of course did nothing in 2.5 years, leave alone a short walk through Nadurbar district of parikrama. Many villagers are literally stealing electricity by what they call "Hook or Crook" method. This must be stopped. If not on Manki baat this should be raised on some other platform. I am repeating Parikrama this year as well. I want to see some difference in facilities for the pilgrims. Portable toilets can be sent to various Ashrams.

It’s a story of transformation brought about by a lady principal of a rural school(Mrs. Pragati Vyavahare) -SPM High school Borgaon (Dabhadi) Tq. arni, Dist Yavatmal, Maharashtra Though the teachers in rural India are required to follow same teaching plan as their urban counterpart, they have different challenges to face. She is regularly introducing innovative ways to make students more productive, disciplined, confident, and overall responsible citizens. Some of her initiatives includes: 1) Starting a class with a table of a number matching the date of the day instead of 'Good Morning teacher' 2) Playing patriotic, educational and productive music during daily prayers making students 3) Making them aware of different government's educational schemes and preparing students for the same 4) Convincing students that how they can afford the uniforms by skipping some fancy food meals or new dress on festivals etc. Watch a complete video for and share the story with country.
