Today I happened to read in news reports that while more than 70 million people file the ITR but only a small portion(15 million ) actually pay the tax . Rest are filing only No tax ITRs. In this contest I am reminded a call given our Hon PM Sh. Narender Modi jee a few years ago to citizens for sacrificing Domestic Gas subsidy, which was enthusiastically responded by millions, which helped save huge sums for exchequer for better applications. Similarly I tend to suggest that let a similar emotional call be given by our Hon. PM / FM that all Assesses who are filing No Tax Return may voluntarily opt to pay Gaurav India Tax of 2-3% on their No Tax ITRs -declaring Income below the minimum tax free limit set in the system. Gaurav India Tax may be termed as the Citizens Voluntary Dignity Contribution (CVDC) in the progress & development of our nation.
