The Logo should be relate to the national objective of Broadband for all Rural (Gram Panchayats) to provide services like e-Governance, e-education, remote health monitoring, ...

The Logo should be relate to the national objective of Broadband for all Rural (Gram Panchayats) to provide services like e-Governance, e-education, remote health monitoring, weather and agriculture, etc. to rural community. NOFN project will provide fibre connectivity to all the 2, 50,000 Gram Panhayats (GPs) in the country.

This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) Project initiated by USO Fund of Department of Telecommunications.

The last date of submission is 1st January, 2015.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize of:

1. First Prize - Rs. 51,000/- (Prize money inclusive of taxes if any)
2. Second prize - Rs. 31,000/- (Prize money inclusive of taxes if any)

Orange and green bands represent existing optical fire wires which will connect to Grampanchayat. The triangular form is used for showing incremental network and also rural area. Orange and green colours represent our national flag. The blavk band within O is used as a door.

The colors are used from the color code of network cable (i.e, RJ-245 cable) and the colors are also same as the color of Indian National flag. Each stand with a round headed shape denotes an optical fibre. Imaginary optical fibres are gradually increased in length anti-clockwise.
