The Logo should be relate to the national objective of Broadband for all Rural (Gram Panchayats) to provide services like e-Governance, e-education, remote health monitoring, ...
The Logo should be relate to the national objective of Broadband for all Rural (Gram Panchayats) to provide services like e-Governance, e-education, remote health monitoring, weather and agriculture, etc. to rural community. NOFN project will provide fibre connectivity to all the 2, 50,000 Gram Panhayats (GPs) in the country.
This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) Project initiated by USO Fund of Department of Telecommunications.
The last date of submission is 1st January, 2015.
The winning entries will be awarded cash prize of:
1. First Prize - Rs. 51,000/- (Prize money inclusive of taxes if any)
2. Second prize - Rs. 31,000/- (Prize money inclusive of taxes if any)

The logo depicts connectivity and transmission through broadband for all. Colors used are National Colors.

In the logo design for National Optical Fibre Network Project (NOFC) I have shown a fibre cable having three wires running parallel to each other. The three wires are representing India’s National Flag flying high. On the jacket of the cable I have shown a smiling face of a person along with a laptop and NOFC written below that. The laptop is placed in such a way that it also looks like the raised arms of the person as if he is in celebrating mood. I am sure you will like the design.
