All Citizens or Stakeholders (Schools of Faridabad both Private and Public, Higher education Institutes of Faridabad, RWA’s of Faridabad, Training Institutes of Faridabad, City associations) are invited to participate in Essay Writing Competition for Smart Faridabad.

Please write an essay on “My Smart Faridabad”illustrating a smart solution you think is usable in your Smart City Faridabad.The essay should be written in 1000 words in either of the sub topics or you can write on any other similar sub-topic of your choice.

Terms and Conditions

1. Award-winning essay shall be chosen on the basis of its innovative and creative ideas.

2. The name of the participants, address and contact number must be mentioned clearly on the top of the essay.

3. The decision of Municipal Corporation of Faridabad for selecting the winner shall be treated as Final.

The top six essay will be awarded under two categories which are as follows:

1. Open to All – Cash Incentives under this category are as follows:

First Prize (One) – Rs25, 000
Second Prize (One) - Rs.15,000
Third Prize (One) – Rs. 10,000

2. School Students - Cash Incentives under this category are as follows:

First Prize (One) – Rs. 5,000
Second Prize (One) – Rs. 3,000
Third Prize (One) – Rs. 2,000

How to submit

1. Submit online at http://mygov.in

2. The students may submit their essays to the Head of the Institute and the Head of the Institute will submit the same to the District Education Officer.

The Last date for submission of the essay is 20th October, 2015.

smart cities contributes to the development and improvement of socio-economic activities of society. The term smart city is also used in literature regarding the education of its inhabitants. A smart city has smart inhabitants in terms of their educational grade.The intelligent systems represent an important part of future educational process. It will affect the way in which the information is received, used, understand and learned by users. making our city smart education, health transport .

I'm here to submit my suggestion about making "My City : A Smart City". Yes, I want my city to be smart as it has been selected among top 100 cities to be smart but to come to top 20 it has to emerge for many big improvements. smart city uses digital technologies or information and communication technologies (ICT) to enhance quality and performance of urban services, to reduce costs and resource consumption, and to engage more effectively and actively with its citizens. being a resident of faridabd, its glad to knw that faridabad is selected for smart city campaign.. i wuld lyk to giv some small suggestions.. 1.I think the bunch of wires over the electric poles really create a mess..they shuld my minimizd..using set top boxes is a gUd attempt..bt ideas shuld bd implimented to minimyz other wires also.. 2. other suggestions are oviously seevers and roads,bt i think gov.iS working over itt.. ITS GUD 2 SEE A PM REALLY WORKING FOR OUR COUNTRY NT JUST SPEKING.

Zebra crossing should be at every intersection. Walking along the streets of the pedestrian must be concrete and tile. Greenbelt along roads should be. Smart City in the roof of the houses and buildings should be of the same color. Must have at least one International University. Car Free Day should be a day in the month that day, people should use public transport. Mono rail facility should be. For security drone system should be. Entertainment clubs for feeling relaxing on weekly holiday.
