All Citizens or Stakeholders (Schools of Faridabad both Private and Public, Higher education Institutes of Faridabad, RWA’s of Faridabad, Training Institutes of Faridabad, City associations) are invited to participate in Essay Writing Competition for Smart Faridabad.

Please write an essay on “My Smart Faridabad”illustrating a smart solution you think is usable in your Smart City Faridabad.The essay should be written in 1000 words in either of the sub topics or you can write on any other similar sub-topic of your choice.

Terms and Conditions

1. Award-winning essay shall be chosen on the basis of its innovative and creative ideas.

2. The name of the participants, address and contact number must be mentioned clearly on the top of the essay.

3. The decision of Municipal Corporation of Faridabad for selecting the winner shall be treated as Final.

The top six essay will be awarded under two categories which are as follows:

1. Open to All – Cash Incentives under this category are as follows:

First Prize (One) – Rs25, 000
Second Prize (One) - Rs.15,000
Third Prize (One) – Rs. 10,000

2. School Students - Cash Incentives under this category are as follows:

First Prize (One) – Rs. 5,000
Second Prize (One) – Rs. 3,000
Third Prize (One) – Rs. 2,000

How to submit

1. Submit online at http://mygov.in

2. The students may submit their essays to the Head of the Institute and the Head of the Institute will submit the same to the District Education Officer.

The Last date for submission of the essay is 20th October, 2015.

CCTV cameras should be placed every 10 Kms which can capture the people who violate cleanliness rules and which can also help in curing other mishaps on roads.

12) Energy from Poo : Faridabad is a city with many villages and villages can be turned into Biogas Plant areas. Biogas, which is formed by breaking down organic waste, primarily a mix of animal and human droppings, municipal waste, sewage, etc., is the best-known way of turning poo to power – without the mess, of course. We can use dog poo, cattle dung etc to generate fuel to light a public street lamp.

Quantity of Dust Bins should raise: Most people end up littering due to lack of options, so we really need to raise Dust Bin quantities everywhere, be it a park, a colony, a market or any place. Also, make bins within citizens reach which is really important. Also, there should be Dust bins in every Haryana Roadways Buses and trains.

First of all, the Roads which are not just the ways, but a big way of development and properity. They really need to be clean. Removal of cattles, stray dogs and monkeys is need of the hour for our Faridabad. These animal can cause mishap to anybody while driving and also filth our roads.

1. In nit area large pollution take place by industries firstly try to increase height of chimneys and provides filters on that units. 2. By this industries large quantity of waste water are produced which is untreated waste water, instruct this industries to follow the waste water treatment procedure compulsory. 3. Large quantities of garbage are also produced by industry which try to decomposed by incineration first then disposal are carried out near by location like dumping or disposing.
