Proper evaluation of cleanliness is a must in these kitchens, especially when children are consuming the food prepared. The report must be objective with actionable points on how to make the kitchens cleaner. You are also welcome to visit a cluster of kitchens in a city or area.

आज भारत मे लाखो मिड डे मिल स्कूल है पर उनको सुचारू रूप से चलने के लिये हमे निम्न मार्ग को अपनाना चाहिये :- 1) पहला प्रत्येक विकासखण्ड मे एक "मध्यान भोजन निरीक्षक अधिकारी" नियुक्त करना चाहिये,२) जो उस जिले का निवासी ना हो,3) और अपने विकासखण्ड के प्रत्येक स्कूल का औचक निरीक्षक करे 4) अपनी रिपोर्ट वो स्कूल के बच्चो, बच्चो के पालक,ग्राम या शहर के सरपंच या नगर प्रमुख से वस्तु स्तिथि की जानकारी अनुसार अपना रिपोर्ट बनाये और कलेक्टर को दे और कलेक्टर उस रिपोर्ट अनुसार स्कूल पर कार्रवाही करे

Process of making food and eating by children should be recorded by PTA member volunteer on their mobile phone.Memory chips could be arranged by PTA members collectively.The visual records would deter vested interests from misdoing and looting resources.

one of my relation is a driver in mid day meal van .once i visited there and find that there were more hygiene than a good restaurant .the khir was much tastier ,it was full of dry fruits.But there One thing I noticed That the vans were very bad in condition there was a scarcity in washing of the utensils

Visited a resutrant kitchen which was clean but the kitchen in school & public area are at horrible condition. The concern department should keep a check on this matter every week n visit public schools,public places etc.

SIR, I am unable to locate eco center in my area. Please each task which includes govt. agencies such as visiting mid day meal kitchen etc. please.....

A feeling of participation in mid day meal could be organized by accepting donation of cooking utensils from villagers.Name could be inscribed on donated utensils. Worn out utensils could also be replaced in same way. PTA members would keep the data of donated utensils. Similarly, mid day meal of 12 day in year could consist of food items collected from village participation. Government could forward credit of saved meals and utensils for another development works in village.

Village level PTA could be recognized and engaged in mid day meal from planning to preparation.Member could be rotated voluntarily mid weekly or weekly for such task. It can not be given entirely to contractor or teacher. Let parents participate in well being of their children. PTA members could also be trained on basic nutritional,hygiene and creative cooking aspects.

Visited two schools in Kamptee Cantt.(Mah).Two maids employed for cooking and cleaning.Menu for each day.Seasonal vegetables ,dal,and rice served.Hygiene maintained.No wastage.Enough utensils.Potable drinking water.tasting of food done by teachers.Clean toilets for boys and girls. Grievances-Insufficient funds.Wood used for cooking,gas is too expensive.Delay in payments.All dry ingredients should be provided..Accounting should be simplified,.NGO services can be used.Advised more neatness.
