October 2 is a day for contemplation, for resolving to do something nobody has ever dared before. “Ekla Cholo Re”, wrote by the Mahakavi Rabindranath Tagore to describe the Mahatma’s determination to initiate social change: the health sector of India needs such a churning. On October 2, 1994, the first small step towards Polio eradication was taken by school children of Delhi after they took a collective oath to lend their labour to the great objective. Today, thanks to that original resolve, India is Polio free. For October 2 this year, your creative energies may be utilised in a message.

MyGov and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, gives you a platform to pay tribute to a great man and the father of the nation.

This October, we celebrate Gandhi Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the nation. I used a quote "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." I believe we keep learning at every step of our lives and we should try and live our lives to the maximum. Life is all about gaining knowledge and having new experiences.
