Attach RFID tag (or some other near field tech) to every vehicle (motorized / non). Attach RFID listeners to ligth poles / traffic lights. We now have a traffic platform on which number of useful apps can be built, e.g. 1. Auto tracking of speed and challan generation (as tag passes various listeners, speed can be computed, or traffic light red means tag should not pass listener) 2. Traffic alerts (speed and density of tags) 3. Traffic light syncronization (based on density)

Provide sufficient number of busses on office hours. Request different timings for office start and end, Eg. north side office start at 8:00, south side 8:00, East side and wet side 9:00. So traffic routing will be on opposite directions. So easily manage traffic. Do the practical on ground study of bus requirement on each destination on peak hours. Talk with few big company's in same area provide them direct common bus. It will stop at respective company only. return half hourly to bus stand

7. Change the school timing, start earlier and finish earlier as possible. This will avoid children to travel in peak hours. 8. Monitor each traffic signal in a city control room, in case of any emergency the traffic police react in timing. Not necessary to keep traffic police in every corner 9. Implement strict laws for the public like over speed, drunken driving, over the signal line, Mia behaviour etc. the law should be strong enough. This will create self discipline and follow the law.
