Suggest smart solutions for solving traffic problems. The solutions may include but not limited to use of innovative digital technologies, administrative and architectural solutions and design of workflows which may be used for solving the problems mentioned in the contest. All questions in this category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing. Questions 1. Suggest one smart solution and/or innovative technology for conveniently dealing with traffic congestion outside your home. 2. One motorcar carries 4 people comfortably; one public bus carries 40 people comfortably. How can a smart city balance the needs of the car and the bus? 3. How can travelling by bus in your city become safer and more comfortable with the use of innovative technologies and smart solutions? Entry Deadline • Entries may be submitted online on the mygov.in portal latest by 23.59 hours (11.59 pm) on Saturday, 20th June 2015. Evaluation The submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria: • Do-ability (50%) • Innovation (50%) Award Two winners in each category will be awarded a citation from the Prime Minister at the Smart City Mission Launch on June 25th, 2015 at VigyanBhavan, New Delhi, along witha cash prize of the following amounts: • Rs. 40,000 - First PrizeRs. 25,000 - Second Prize The winning ideas would be shared with the 100 SmartCities as potentiallyimplementablesolutions and will be considered for pilot • All questions in a particular category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing. • The participants(s) entries will be judged for each category independently and on merit. In case of short listing in more than one category, a participant will receive prize money for one category only. • The length of each answer is limited to 250 words or less. In Mumbai there must be hardly 5-15% people who actually follow traffic rules. Everyone is in hurry for nothing. People feel if they stop for someone else then it will show them down. Randomly stop a car and take tests.

At any situation there is not need to stop the vehicles crossing from that road from which mp, mla, cm ,pm ,even president also crosses from that raod this causes traffic for atleast 2 to 3 hours because all the leaders are common man we send them to seat on constitutional rank and only we have to face the problem......

We make a machine in which we throw waste materials n then we can listen our fav song or video so by this our city.can be cleaned n easily first introduce this to monuments n oll n see its result

1. Sensors towards traffic and if it extends particular distance signals turns green thus it can able to manage the traffic 2. A smart city population has a moderate range that out of 10 peoples 4 peoples can have car and 6 peoples can utilize bus it is of 4:6 ratio 40% of car and 60% of bus usage will manage it 3. In bus with more peoples comes more care and safeness, people believe innovative technologies are developed to safe guard the citizens and their families that makes comfortable

Sir only method to control traffic is that we should avoid buying and using motor vehicles. We should use cycles or horses or bullockcarts to travel . It will be more environment friendly and we could reduce not only the traffic but we will be able to achieve pollution free environment .

1 : To moderate the number of vehicles a family can own. Bike and Car pooling communities. Using Public transport in conjunction with private 2: Milk Run logistics method can be used to movement of cars and bus. 3: Indian Trains are much more comfortable then buses. Also to make them save provide emergency pull breaks #MeraDeshMeraAnand
