1. Making people aware about traffic rules, in school students above class 8 should be tained and make them aware about the fines and punishment for traffic rules breaking, making police more trained and provide them technology.. 2. It depends on public interest, emergency, roads, traffic etc. So govt should aware people and Encourage people to use public transport.. Well its time to use Metro.. 3. This question is not valid for my city as no govt. Buses are on the roads..

Lets have traffic lights all intersection areas with cameras, and traffic police should work/monitor genuinely and act accordingly without any hesitation no matter whoever in any higher post doing wrong should be punished and this can be relaxed for Emergency Medical Situations..

Sir this thing can be manage as by making a better public conveyance for there movement in the city it can be done as by starting some common buses for transportation with security for the public inside the buses. And start a different routes for the vehicles which is not interested to enter in the city so that they can move easily from there and the city will have less traffic of the other vehicles . sir there must be various flyovers for the places of heavy traffics .

If we make proper u turns instead of fly overs & signals than we can solve traffic problems....some times we noted when department makes temporary u turns to make fly overs that time traffic becomes very smooth....if we make proper u turns than we can save lots of money spending on fly overs n signals....we can use it as a trail where we have to need new fly overs.

I feel it is lack of self discipline.pedestrians never cross roads on zebra crossing.so fine should be imposed on them if they fail to do so.and separate driving test depending on the class(CC).city bus drivers are allowed only on the left side of the road.and no overtaking of other buses during peak hours...and traffic should be taught lane manners...and install cc cameras to keep continous watch on traffic defaulters..and app which holds all the documents for police verification..

The simple way to reduce 50% of traffic is bring in strict rules on what days what vehicles can get on road . three days in a week the entire nation must use public transport for all their works, few exception can be encouraged for few people if they have a geninune reason . this works out if traffic police becomes very strict and impose huge fines on people who travel in private vehicles on the banned days. And after all its about saving the air we breathe . can't we use public transport ?

Major points where there usually traffic jams are must be identified and accordingly CCTVs can be installed there. The CCTVs should be connected to a centralised control room from where looking at appropriate possibilities instructions may be given to ground staff. A smart city need not consider needs of a car but it must provide such connectivity through public transport that there arises no need to use private car Bus travel can be made safer by accounting driver for safety in all cases
