#MeraShaharMeraSapna qn no 3. People avoid public buses because poor time management and lack of proper maintenance. Again, rough attitude of staff makes them away from government buses. State owned road traffic corporations have to be divided based on operation at a particular smart city (strategic business units). Competition should be there between these units. All the buses are connected with GPS so that the details about their positions can be accessed through a mobile app.

#MeraShaharMeraSapna Qn no2.Car pooling is the best.Car pooling mobile app should be created for each smart city and people with good reputation (recommended by police/ resident associations)be made members. Whenever they plan for journey, share the details through mobile app so that new people can join the journey. But, all these are completely under scanner of authorities. In this way, we can reduce traffic volume/ crime against women and children. There should be lift centres

#MeraShaharMeraSapna 1. Kill switch for expensive automobiles : GPS controlled vehicle immobilizers should be made mandatory in costly vehicles so that whenever the authorities permit, then only the vehicles can move out. eg: if the govt says: only vehicles bearing even numbers can roll out on the road, today, only those vehicles could turn on ignition! Other vehicles will not start! Now, govt can decide the traffic volume. It will reduce gap between rich and poor

hello sir,Traffic congestion can be reduced or eliminated! All items below cost very little. Any by themselves would decrease traffic congestion. Together, they would eliminate it. 1) Implement employee parking cash-out.This would have an immediate impact of reducing car commuting by 25%. 2) Raise the gas tax in a "revenue neutral" manner. At present, about half of local road costs are paid for by property taxes.

#MeraShaharMeraSapna I live in new delhi and there is hell lot of traffic. Promote Cycling Make a coach in the metro for cycle stands this way cyclists can take their cycles to any part of the city.Government should give 50% subsidy to cyclist on metro tickets this way more no. of people would take their cycles to offices and colleges. there would be less no. of cars on the road.publicize cycling by b-stars posters and PM himself going to work on cycle.Government can earn revenue by renting it

There is a greater need to overhaul the way we commute and way we make people make eligible to drive. And also to way we build our road systems. Lets be real smart by making public service interdisciplinary which is to say running city services as a company where we ask different departments to solve a problem to proceed with other solutions.

I used it to get from Fort to Bhuleshwar — a stretch of just 4 km that often takes over an hour in my car in heavy traffic. On the bike, it took me just 10 minutes.A man wades his bike through a flooded street at Hindamata, Dadar as heavy rains lashed Mumbai. The city witnessed heavy rains, which caused waterlogging in the low-lying areas.A shopkeeper in Dadar's Hindmata cleans the entrance of his shop as heavy rains caused flooding and waterlogging, in Mumbai.Monsoon has finally arrived
