The Ministry of Finance is proposing a national initiative to provide all households in the country with banking services, with particular focus to empower the weaker sections of society, including women, small and marginal farmers and labourers, both urban and rural.

This task seeks inputs to design a Logo, name and tag line for the Finance Ministry's initiative. The last date of submision is 7th August 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Name: MUDRA BANK Tagline: AAPKI BACHAT, AAPKI MUTTHI MEI... The purpose was to make a logo for weaker sections of the society so as to provide them all household services. MUDRA means money, and so the tagline portrays that your savings, in your hands.

Name: Swavalamban (Meaning self-reliance) Tagline: Parasparam Bhavyantah (Shloka from Geeta preaching the relevance of mutual assistance and equitable conduct) Logo: a) People holding each other hands symbolizes sharing and caring philosophy i.e. each of us should help others to share the joy and peace of life b) Rupee symbol at the center and human impression emanating radially outwards, depict the financial growth in all directions c) Bright color combination symbolizes hope and positivity.

Name: Abhivrudhhi Tag Line: Money for the deserving The concept is of money, represented by the rupee symbol, which is embracing the people targeted by the project , represented by a farmer and a woman. The rupee is shown in green symbolising hope for the hardworking people, who are the spine of our country. The project name is Abhivrudhhi, meaning prosperity, and as the tagline goes, it helps the people who deserve it and are in need of it , and whose empowerment can make our country better!

Name: Suyojana Tagline: Sarv Bhavantu Sukhina The tree indicates the developing bond between the rural India and its betterment by providing them financial and medical services which is indicated by the 2 flowers on the top.

Name: Shree Bharat Tagline: Samrudhdh, Shashkt aur Shukhmay Bharat. Concept: 'Shree' in means of 'Laxmi' (in the name). Rupee Symbol stands for Finance related services. Root stands to spread of service to the very end. Leaves/Tree shows the growth of the country.
