The Ministry of Finance is proposing a national initiative to provide all households in the country with banking services, with particular focus to empower the weaker sections of society, including women, small and marginal farmers and labourers, both urban and rural.

This task seeks inputs to design a Logo, name and tag line for the Finance Ministry's initiative. The last date of submision is 7th August 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Tag Line: Vyapak Dhan, Surakshit Jeevan
Parirakshita means to preserve (money)
Tag line “ Vyapak Dhan” indicates the action plan of the policy to increase money by creating a bank account with every Indian with a bank account. Since this bank account also covers accidental insurance of 1 lac so the tag line ends with "Surakshit Jeevan”
The same is depicted by the logo where people vector shows community to be reached and rupee logo symbolizes money.

About the logo: Orange shape representing our hands in a shape of piggy bank in which rural people gonna save their savings for their own future and the green shape above orange showing up the relation of our country with agriculture site. In our culture, its a faith that every new task should be started with some cultural symbols which can be shown by the urn shaped logo.

This logo describe that the development of rural areas relies on the funds of urban areas and the development of urban areas cannot be done without the support from rural areas. Both go hand in hand and lead to national development. Spreading awareness about banking and its function among the citizens of rural areas will make them economically stable and independent.
