The Ministry of Finance is proposing a national initiative to provide all households in the country with banking services, with particular focus to empower the weaker sections of society, including women, small and marginal farmers and labourers, both urban and rural.

This task seeks inputs to design a Logo, name and tag line for the Finance Ministry's initiative. The last date of submision is 7th August 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Name: Vittiya Sambhuya or Vittiya Vikas Sambhuya which means: Economic development through joint effort. Tagline: Chalo kholein bank mein khaata, Jodein ab tarakki se naata. The logo shows that every member in the family irrespective of the age group will now have a bank account and will stay connected with economic development of India (shown by rising sun). The human figure used is neutral and does not discriminate between urban or rural. Colours used -Gray: No discrimination, Orange: Newness.

Campaign Name: ‘Unnati’ Slogan : “Samriddhi har ghar ki” Languages: Hindi / English The Concept Note: The main imagery consists of Rupee Symbol formed of a Hammer, a Chapati Roller, and a Sickle, denoting a worker, a woman and a farmer from a rural household. These instruments combine to form the symbol of Indian Economy. In the backdrop we find the Ashok Chakra and a color theme denoting Indian nationality and aesthetics.

Sarv Jan Vithiya Vikas Yojna "Har hath vikas ka saath". The logo tries to depict the act of both giving and reaping benefits from a banking scheme available to all Indians. It speaks of empowerment and participation of the people, which is key to progress.

Campaign Name: ‘Gramlakshmi’ Slogan : “Sanchit Dhan, Sukhi Jan” Languages: Hindi / English The Imagery: On the representation of a coin, three symbolic figures of a farmer, a rural woman and a little girl, depict a happy rural family. The aptly placed Rupee Symbol brings in the concept of Indian Economy. The circle enclosure creates a sense of holistic inclusion, alongwith the wheat crops and the green backdrop of the coin, which symbolize prosperity.
