The Ministry of Finance is proposing a national initiative to provide all households in the country with banking services, with particular focus to empower the weaker sections of society, including women, small and marginal farmers and labourers, both urban and rural.

This task seeks inputs to design a Logo, name and tag line for the Finance Ministry's initiative. The last date of submision is 7th August 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Name: shakti Tagline: sashakt Bharat ki aor. This logo reflects a feeling of power, empowerment of weaker section of society. I have used Lion as a power of India which reflects that India is strong enough to face any financial problem.

Initiative Name: Jan Saadhaaran Hitaaye, Samaveshi Evam Pratibaddh Aarthik Sevaayein.
Initiative Tag Line: Har Ghar Bank, Ghar-Ghar Bank.
Notes:
Two logos are submitted, one with tag-line and other without.
Left part of the logo depicts the initiative of Finance Ministry and the right part depicts the audience towards whom the initiative is targeted. Finger tips with Finger Prints represent that the target audience is a weaker section of the society.

Since the scheme that will be launched by the government on independence day aims at bringing financial independence in the country to invoke the circle of economic growth, my logo is an attempt to depict this intent in one image. Inspired by the Ashoka Chakra, the circle with rupee sign denotes connectivity of financial services with the rural part of India. The lines originating from the centre of the circle, connecting with abstract images of rural population in the outline.
