The Ministry of Finance is proposing a national initiative to provide all households in the country with banking services, with particular focus to empower the weaker sections of society, including women, small and marginal farmers and labourers, both urban and rural.

This task seeks inputs to design a Logo, name and tag line for the Finance Ministry's initiative. The last date of submision is 7th August 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Remembering the solemnity of purpose and the high platform which executes the programme I am proposing an amalgamation of national icons. The emphasis in the logo is on the word "all"- in hindi "sarvjan". The logo can especially be adopted easily for letterheads, envelopes and visiting cards as well as used in large banners without losing any legibility. It was also seen that the logo has clean lines and uses the graphics in an eye catching and impactful way.

Concept: The logo unit is a typograph of the word ‘Sammaan’ written in Devanagari. The first letter is combined with the rupee symbol, portraying Comprehensive Financial Inclusion stands for dignity or ‘Sammaan’.2 faces above, one a man, other a woman, represent equality. Each & every citizen,especially farmers and labourers will now enjoy all the banking services.
