Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

Trains to be equipped with bio toilets which will keep the tracks clean. Also with a digital screen on every coach eliminating need of passenger chart , this will be helpful for the passengers to check their current waiting list as i have heard that tablets are introduced for TTE which will automatically manage the waiting list passengers on real time.

Railways should make restrictions for people who just come to leave their near or dear ones to station platform. Only one person should be allowed with the ticket holder and a system like in metro be initiated : The ticket to contain a bar code through which entry be allowed to the passengers listed in the ticket. this will check the crowd on the stations and thus resolving many issues : cleanliness on railway stations security for passengers on stations and also boarding the trains

To Honorable PM, Respected sir, Subject- Regarding TA/DA and sitting fees Of MP's Sir as we see that during most of discussion/ debate regarding bill/issue our respected members of parliament used frequently to walk out the session. Being a government employee if anybody is absent/unavailable during working hours there is procedure to deduct the salary of that day. To avoid these walked out from respected parliament we suggest that these rules are also be implemented on our MP's.

There is need of local from Dadar to Vashi via Thane. People working inbetween the thane & vashi has to change the trains at thane or kurla then cross the crowded bridges . By starting this train there will be ease of travel for such people.

We should increase average speed of trains. Increasing average speed from 54km/h to 80km/h and can increase our passenger carrying capacity by 1.5 times from the same infrastructure. This will only cost a better management of our present infrastructure and little improved automation. The increased automation will also make trains to run on time with safety. This can make railways one of the most profitable organisations. The increased income can be used for comfort and safety of travellers.
