Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment ...

Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

Dear Prime Minister kindly look into IRCTC tatkal online reservation , there is some serious fraud going on .. this service is of no benefits to common man!!

Dear Primeminister Sir, I have a idea about Indian Railways Railway stations. When we goes to any railway station in India, there is a big problem of DRINKING WATER. We all of the general citizen of indian republic face problem of packaged drinking water. I want that you install a RO Purifier with refrigerator with a security guard. When anybody want to use this mineral water then he will pay a minimum cost of 10/- per liter. It seems to me that everyone of indian citizen will happy for doing it

For unmanned level crossing, install alarm n red light for indication of incoming train.alarm and red are powered by solar panel

The present administration who are keen to improve the service may look into such matters.Please invite FEED BACKS from passengers.Ask caterers to get feed back and send to you. Let us hope there will be improvement .

3.Vada,and other fried things are not covered by polythene paper or cloth.Therefore there is a possibility of the spit of vendor falling on eatables when they call out. 3.caterers insist passengers to buy food in "sets".Eg.in train 12610 Arenco will not serve one dosa or one vada.passenger is forced to buy TWO dosas and one vada{ie.One set},.I feel it objectionable.caterer has to serve what passenger wants.should not force him to buy.

The quality,Quantity and hygiene maintained by catering in Trains are far from satisfactory.I append a mail sent to S.Railway for which I have not yet received a reply. 1.I have traveled from Chennai to Bangalore by 22625 on 23/01/2015..I saw coffee was brought in a dirty steel vessel at Katpadi railway station by boys of Arenco catering and fillled in cans of vendors.They should have brought coffee in covered cans and filled in empty cans . 2.The vendors in the train were not using gloves

Respected sir, please allot a express train from Ahmadabad to valsad at 1 O'clock as everyone is finding problems in travelling from ahmadabad and there are no such trains between these timings

Modijee, Dhesh ka sabi Rail maarg yaane Railway Roots ko jodna bi bahuth jaroori hai, Railway jodne ka saath saath sabi Raajyonko jod saktha hai, Railway ka dhono side ped yaane Trees ko paalne ka saath saath dhono side pe Park banana aur Road yaane Railway Parallel Roads banaana hai. Railway jodne se sabi kshethra ka vikaas hotha hai, jameen yaane land ka dhar yaane value bi bad jaatha hai aur iske saath saath sab ka vikaas bi hotha hai. Sabi level crossing bandh karke is jagaha par under bridge aur over bridge banaanese amoolya jeev ko bachaa sakthaa hai, Man power bachthaa hai, paise bi bachthaa hai, Traffic Jam bi nahi hotha hai. Iske alaava hamaara ijjath bi bachaana aapka jaroori kaam me se ek kaam hai. Sabi puraana open bridge ko ek mukthi dhena hai kivnki agar gaadi yaane Rail aayetho gandhagi bridge ke neeche koyi jaa nahi sakthaa hai. Sabi Rail nirdhaarith samay par chalna chaayiye, sabi Rail ko swacchatha rakna chaayiye, Sabi Rail me TC jaroor kaam karna chaayiye.

empower locals in the nearby vicinity of unmanned level crossings with the responsibility of manning them. Railways can engage retired Govt. employees to spare a few hours each month to take turns to do this job. Since the railways is a for-profit organisation it can return the favour by offering points to these volunteers that can be exchanged for train travel.
