Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

I really think there is an urgent need to install dustbins in trains. Its so sad to see all the tea cups and other litter being thrown adjacent to the tracks.

Please do not announce new trains in this budget and instead make arrangement to run the trains on time and fix accountability on officials.

remove jhuggi from railway track which are dengerously close to railway track such as Dayabasti station at Delhi. This is the dirtiest and most notorious station in world which is in the capital of India. Cay you believe it? Further all train to Rajasthan from Delhi passes through Dayabasti and what we are showing to the foreigners who come to visit our country. Request Prime Minister to take note of this and make this place clean. Modiji ko Dayabasti par Swacch Bharat Abhiyan chalana chahiye.

1. Make Indian Railway staffs professional so that they can run trains on time, keep the trains and station premises and railway tracks clean. 2. Rationalise the trains by merging various weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly trains in same route, so that trains can be effectively managed and people get regular train. e.g. Merge New-Delhi Howrah Duronto, Delhi-Sealdah Sampark Kranti, New-Delhi- Howrah Express into one train of Sampark Kranti type where the entire state can be connected.

Railway Budget coming up,I think the problem of local passengers who board in name of going to next station in a sleeper class coach without ticket n disturb n forcefully take the seats of already seated passengers who have paid for it,Even T.C doesnt cares for it,Financial loss to Railways,n Sol. We need to come up with a number which any passenger can dial for the problem n immediately guards should report to place n Challan such people n also save the passengers from humiliation they have to face.

We need to target to increase Railway lines by 3 times within a period of 10 years. This not only brings down Road traffic, but also reduces lot of petroleum consumption in India, which is playing key role in inflation and Rupee valuation in international market. Separate line shall be made for goods train. Instead of focus on bullet train focus on to improve the facilities and number of passengers trains so people would prefer to travel by train.
