Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

Another baby delivered in train toilet yesterday in Rajsthan. We talk about Bullet Trains and what not. But do we pay much heed to basic cleanliness, toilets, and inconvenient staircases of railway stations that makes it very difficult to carry the luggage, children, aged, disabled and patients. Perhaps we don't have priorities in place and go haywire for bigger scopes due to obvious reasons. Please follow the simple path of somple to complex, from basic minimum to luxaries.

Govt. is constructing bridge with cement/iron and concreat but this is very costly and to much chances of corruption in it.Inmy opinion if bridge, flyover constucted by granite or igneous rocks it will be very cheap with no big budget.there are to many Railway bridge on holy Nermada river. near Burwah Sanawad ,Khalghat district Khargone&Hoshangabad M.P.Durability of this is 150 year.

Awareness have to be created on the topic of UNMANNED Level crossing. because uneducated peoples did not know about the unmanned crossing. And main mistake is the the symbol of unmanned track is not correctly picturize the actual meaning of unmanned. so define an another symbol which perfectly represents the unmanned level crossing.
