The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.
 
Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Govt should introduce this Technology of Open Money for all Transactions in our monetary system, thus can end Corruption & Black Money From our System.

GST @ 16% goes to Escrow A/c and 5% goes to Centre + 5% to State + 5% to Local body + 1% to Tax Payers Association / Welfare Fund supporting them in case of Seminars, Professional Training, Insurance, Social Work, Education, Clean India Movement etc. This is I call a hassle free and constructive and something with Carrot Approach. And we can see the development in our local area due to Local Share. No Entry Tax required.

HON. PRIME MINISTER SIR, EDUCATION IS THE MOST POWERFUL 'WEAPON' TO CHANGE THE WORLD in the words of Late Dr.Nelson Mandela. WITH ALL DUE REGARDS, WE SUGGEST THAT THIS MUST BE BORNE IN MIND. EDUCATION AND EDUCATIONISTS ARE GROSSLY NEGLECTED IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE. JUST AS AN EXAMPLE, IN THE RECENT OATH TAKING CEREMONY OF HON. CHIEF MINISTER OF MAHARASHTRA, THE NAMES OF MANY ACTORS, FILM STARS AND SPORTSMEN WERE GLORIOUSLY PUBLICIZED. BUT NOT A SINGLE EDUCATIONIST. THIS NEEDS CORRECTION SOON.

Has to be on the job. Reasons 1. Diploma and Degree takes time 2. Diploma holders again would take time to grasp mining skills 3. Increased cost for diploma 4. Please note diploma and degree, however, is necessary for managerial level

Not just mining sector, but for every single sector, in-class education MUST be coupled with on the job apprenticeship otherwise all you have is paper degree and students who graduate with zero practical knowledge required in the respective industry.

Respected PM sir, my name is Nitesh Kumar Sharma. i am a MCA (Post Graduation) student. so called masters degree in india. but the main issue is behind my post is... is it really a masters degree? because how much i know masters degree is used to develop masters skill in a particular subject or field. but what is actually happening in every masters degree in india- that is only pass all 6 or 7 subject in a semester examination. is it really make a sense. how any one can say it's a masters deg

@PMOIndia, @narendramodi, Sir your every speech really inspired me. As a citizen of India I am not satisfied with your as on date performance as a PM. Sir you will not become a perfect PM unless you implement use of unique id only through PMO to all Indians / business / pvt / govt sectors & link it with each cash / bank transaction, purchase of land / building / vehicles / diamond / gold / any property, shares, driving licence / vehicle registration / education / medical treatment by doctors ...
