The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.
 
Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

according the my experience proper training is best for improve the knowledge after that u can approved the person for that work,

Sir, mining sector should be fully mechanized with very few human intervention. The labour employed in mining should be shifted to other productive sectors. We need to educate each and every individual and make India a powerhouse in research and development. They should be given other opportunities.

Class room training coupled with adequate field training is required in every field technical training. The proportion of class room training and field exposure need to be decided on the basis of the level of technical skill required.

There has to be a mix of class room, visit to mines, museums like in BITS Pilani ( Rajasthan) which have models, and of course video films to show mining operations in India and abroad.

In order to improve the educational standard of Govt. schools, state govts. as well as central govt. introduced the teacher eligibility test (TET) for being considered for job in educational institution, which is a praiseworthy step. The standard of yhis test quite high and only the deserving candidates are able to qualify it. At present rumours are there that newly formed BJP govt. in Haryana is going to abolish HTET. The abolition of such test would lead to declining standard of education.

Sir I appreciate various initiatives taken by the Government. Specially the drive initiated by our beloved PM for Clean India Movement is very close to my heart. Though it quite exemplary to drive this movement by involvement of celebrities and leaders of the society it needs to be consolidated on sustainable basis. A continuous propaganda is required for the common man like making essential guide lines to keep this country clean. If required fine to be imposed on individual or groups.

Dear Sir, I am an executive working in Delhi. I think if all the buildings (homes, offices, hotels, malls etc) in our country have a norm of not using elevators for at-least first or second floors. In case someone has a physical problem they should be using. I have noticed a lot building people using elevators for the going to first floor. This can help in saving a lot of electricity. Power is one critical area were we should look at saving even a single unit by one citizen will save billions.

Skills for Mining Sector can be developed in real time environment at some level of work force but for the planning, execution, implementation, finance. But yes the Real labour workforce can be trained and prepared in the real time scenario. Also the cordination between upper and lower system can be managed at ground level better cause the senior management or work force come to know the ground reality and make the policies accordingly.

We want people who love the job doing everything. Most of our job are done by people doing it for their living and most of them doing for the sake of just doing it. Love your job and engage in it with enjoyment can make a big difference.
