Belagavi(venugram)feels g8t tat its nominated for smart city n hope it achieves one :)I believe it shud start with improvisation in basic necessities like (garbage disposal,public toilets) My humble request in providing d garbage collectors a proper sense of hygiene n provisions to be made to dem like gloves,masks etc as a simple step towards making belagavi a smart one with smart ppl n smart simple steps..!

*usage of plastic bags, cups should be banned.
*it should be made compulsory for all to dispose waste in proper place.
*waste accumulated after marriages, political functions and other ceremonial functions should be disposed off strictly at their own cost.
*a good transport facility.
*WiFi in railway station.
*new FM radio stations.

*road side vegetable/fruits vendor, should be given a proper hygienic place to minimize the road traffic.
*let the electric lines be under grounded.
*a good drainage system in extension areas.
*install solar powered street lights.
*improve bus stand facilities.
*let people differentiate the waste as biodegradable waste and non-biodegradable waste for proper waste treatment.
*punishment to be imposed to those who throw waste in public places like roads,temples,bus stand, railway station etc

1. There should be dustbins placed at all the main places n all possible corners to maintain cleaniliness
2. For a better smart city we need a industry in belgaum so as to solve the employment problem.
3. Proper constructions of road must be done it should be a one time show not all the time be after it and no one should dig it after the road is completed for any reason

Basic development of al d areas, bus stops, railways, airport, cleanliness, roads, rest room, dustbin, security etc...
So let's make belgaum a smart city n a clean city wer evry tourist would like it 2 visit again n again.
