Not only the roads which we have to clean but also the govt servants hands every where we go we need to pay something in order to inish our works. that too only for the govt works. this is a shame full thing which we have throughout india. people are scared to finish their construction let it be a commercial or residential property after finishing their construction work they were pushed to a situation in which they have to pay the same cost of the whole building for property clearance

#Chennai Pedestrian ways must be part of all the major roads in the city. Rainwater harvesting must be made mandatory for all areas. Water reservoirs in and around the city must be preserved and steps must be taken to create the new water reservoirs. Solar power must be made mandatory for all the luxury hotels and luxury residential projects. Possibility of implementing BRTS (Bus Rapid Transport System) need to be explored. The need of the hour for Chennai is only environmental friendly projects

Planting trees on either side of OMR and roads connecting OMR will be great. Tree maintenance can be done by residents and corporation combined.

#Chennai Chennai Corporation should scrap off existing roads before laying new one. They should improve services on slid waste management. People and especially senior citizens ahold be given highest priority. In many public places corporation should start collecting money for parking vehicles. This will increase their revenue. They should voluntarily lay roads in streets which is not at all done. Ultimately if basics are strong only then a city can become a smart city.

The city limit roads constitutes about 1/2 km stretch for every break in the divider. considering the reduction in this (say 100 - 200 mts based on traffic movement)gap will directly lead to lesser usage of fuel hence bringing down day to day commodity prices as well. Most of dividers are not open even for hospitals and school crossings which should be considered as emergency action.

All major junctions in the city can be beautified w cobblestone tiles, signals for the visually impaired and pedestrian bridges by asking the companies at the junction to sponsor. In return, the companies will be allowed to name the plaza after themselves.
