Chennai Corporation can include in the tender document, a condition for any developmental works like road laying, median formation etc. that the work can start at 12.01 am in early morning and end at 6.00 am. This will reduce congestion in the roads during day time.

Many cities have river and sea fronts that can be leveraged. the landscape has large rock formations and boulders. The urban design must incorporate them into the city rather than level them to the ground. This is what gives cities personality in the long run.
