Smart cards can be sold at depots; swiping machine to be installed in buses; passengers to swipe while getting in to the bus.No of stops, duration of stops shall be electronically controlled.
2.VEHICLE PARKING: We need to have separate vehicle parking area within one 1

Transport and parking are growing menace in Chennai.Main roads width is not allowed for use.
The solutions are:(1).There are roads parallel to main roads in many places but they are not continuous due to pockets of small Nagars blocking at regular distances; by removing the blocks, these roads can be identified for exclusive 2 wheelars.(2) Autos to be banned from Tambaram to say, Perambur like in Seoul,South Korea because of their traffic hazard( Meters- anywayisafailure inthe law-less Chennai.

1. RECOMMENDED LOCATIONS FOR GREENFILED DEVELOPMENT - MAMALLAPURAM, CHENGALPET, KANCHIPURAM AND ARAKKONAM.
2. THE TRAIN FROM BEACH TO ARAKKONAM SHOULD BE MADE AS CIRCULAR ROUTE BY BEACH – ARAKKONAM – KANCHIPURAM – CHENGALPET – BEACH.

CHENNAI A SMART CITY
HOUSING: While we spend most of our lives in our homes we consume significant amounts of energy and resources in heating ,cooling ,power and lighting and in consumption of potable water and removal of waste water. That these utility services are typically provided via connection to number of area wide networks is a fairly recent development in human history.
Hence to make a home autonomous and sustainable to meet its own ene

similar to roof top solar panels are given subsidies. roof top gardens can be given incentives like a reduction of their taxes. we will be reducing room temperature and reducing electrical consumption on airconditioning in the process.

chennai has been a place for passive entertainment like cinema's, theatre, visiting temples, planetarium etc. interactive indoor and outdoor entertainment options like indoor rockclimbing, outdoor activities like fishing on the fresh water lakes, boating, a cycling tour during the weekends like being done in pondicherry would bring in more visitors. Promoting on the tourism page on all these options

Our roads have gotten better, now the time wasted at signals is to be addressed. especially on important roads like the jawaharlal nehru salai( 100 ft road). a simple single lane "elevated round about" like the one near "ponds" pallavaram can be beneath the metro and take away the waiting time for through traffic.

Currently we have different website for property tax, metro water tax and Electricity. It will be good if we have one portal through which all the taxes are paid by the consumer. Currently property and metrowater share the same CMC number; if we can extend the CMC to Electricity then this can be easily accomplished. By doing so the government will be able to track consumers in a very effective way and prevent leakages and identify gaps where people are paying EB but not property tax. More in doc
