Parking:
There could be a cloud based city parking map which should display parking space available in different locations.
Advantages:-
1. Local Commuters can spot their parking place well advance rather than going to the destination and struggling to find a place.
2. This could reduce the travel time and cost to run the car/any vehicle to find a place to park and will also reduce traffic on the tight roads like market places, etc.
3. This approach could be extended to a city traffic map.

Smart Electricity:
Automated electric meters or adapters to existing electric meters to connect to internet to push energy consumption data from every home in the city.
Everyday push notifications or SMS alerts on daily consumption to the customers.
Analyze customers consumption pattern and providing Electricity in different schema as the GSM Internet packs. This could help in understand the consumers energy consumption pattern more precisely and also help to reduce electricity theft.

1. Bring in 100% online services wherever possible. People should be able to
get confidence in using these services.
2. Helpline in all the departments should function as promised.
3. Plan local community involvement in development and maintenance of common
facilities like street lights, cleaning of streets, safety of locals, etc.
This can be experimented with smaller groups at various areas of city.
Once this system works, this will automatically spread within city.
