1. Avoid frequent digging of roads by laying permanent canal similar to drainage and water system for all network and power cables.
2. Ban plastic bags.
3. Restrict Borewell depth based on water table level of respective area.
4. Make rain water harvesting compulsory for all buildings, inspect periodically and suspend water connection if harvesting not maintained properly.

Go Green - There are exisiting executive orders banning plastic bags. Suggestion is not to ban, but charge the use of plastic bags as it in a few counties in USA (probably in India as well I'm not aware), where plastic bags are not free. When we go shopping citizens have to carry their own bags. If they don't carry their own bags, then plastic bags have to be bought for money by the citizen and this amount needs to be paid back to the government. This approach can be implemented here as well.

To become a smart city, we need a smart city model. We can adopt Singapore as our model. Whatever that has been done to make Singapore smart must be done here.
To implement the Chennai smart city project a Chief Executive Officer must be appointed to avoid passing the buck. He should have control over all aspects like, roads, traffic, garbage, water, sewage, electricity, crime etc.
A smart city must look like the printed circuit board of a computer ….
Full details in annexure.

1. Should have separate track for public bus and cycle in all the roads
2. Should ban the street shops and the shops extended in roads and platforms. Allocate the separate space (bazaar) for those shops.
3. Ban the beggars in the city and take them to orphanage.
4. Construct bus stops with queue system to avoid fighting on embarking in bus or train
5. Ban the share autos and facilitate the government mini buses in narrow routes

certain areas of chennai become a city of pool during rains and also were not able to preserve are ground water levels due to increasing population if an idea could strike to preserve all the water which pouring on the roads, take look at this concrete for laying roads it incredibily takes all the water thrown on it the water entering the concrete is naturally passed to ground below this would be an awesome project for water starved chennai saving every drop of water pouring from the sky pevent

We've separate department/club to decide the auto fare, school fare and etc.But we don't have any such to decide or categorize the private hospital fees where always be crowded. There are n number of clinics in the city i.e. at least 1 private clinic in a street. This government doesn't have any control on these and charging the patients to their wish.So bring all the clinics in one umbrella, can say in a portal or common database which will help to closely monitor the clinic, patients, clinic income
