Make rain water harvesting, solar power mandatory for apartments & individuals constructing on their own. Equal space on all four sides of the plot should be used for percolation of rain water & planting of trees making the city cleaner. Emission check for all vehicles should be mandatory & remove the vehicles surpassing the prescribed limit with immediate effect. Enable vehicle pooling among corporates & encourage public transport among the public.

1. Chennai - only metro with airport still within city - but definitely needs work to be done before it can compete against top airports in India. Needs urgent and immediate attention. 2. Chennai Metro needs rapid expansion in all directions. Urgent need to start work right away as these are multi year projects. 3. Create multiple combined entertainment/shopping/hospital hubs in city outskirts - thus spreading the hubs closer to people - and establish metro connection to these hubs.

Thank you for providing me an opportunity, Please find my suggestions below, Please don't allow any advertisement boards or flags in the main road center meridian, This is a big public nuisance. We need to have a proper rain water drain system for our roads, At present most of the roads are under water during heavy rains. OMR road is highly populated road, We need Metro or MRTS till kelambakkam, Only this can reduce the OMR traffic We need to clean Koovam and Adayar river

In a given area, all the offices, irrespective of whether it is govt or pvt should have same opening and closing time.So that car pooling, charted bus,van etc can be plyed to reduce traffic congestion. If any company is not adhering to the same then the company should arrange for pooling service or alternate transport arrangements duly approved by corporation such that the traffic congestion gets reduced. On standardising the timings govt has to make necessary arrangements for adequate transport
